Principal/Owner and President

Ken is the founder and president of KWC Engineers, a graduate of California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, and a Registered Civil Engineer in California, Arizona and Nevada. He has more than 30 years of public works and private land development experience. Ken has directed land development projects in more than 50 Southern California cities and has managed public works projects for more than 20 Southern California cities and three counties.

Ken’s professional experience includes the design and management of many types of private and public infrastructure projects; including residential master plan developments, commercial and industrial subdivisions, water treatment, trunk sewers, reclaimed water, electrical substations, landslide stabilization, erosion control, cost opinions, assessment districts, community redevelopment, street widening and flood control. His experience as chief estimator for a major Southern California contractor has given him the insight to understand the construction and contracting methods required in the competitive development market. An early advocate of computerization in the engineering field, Ken was instrumental in developing the company’s engineering process for the development of project plans, cost opinions, schedules and project management.

As owner and president, Ken is personally committed to setting and maintaining the firm’s high professional standards for quality control and client satisfaction. This begins with building a relationship with clients to understand their needs.

Ken’s commitment to the community is an important aspect of his career, having been a past member of the Circle City Rotary Club, current chair for the Budget and Finance Committee at Canyon Lake Community Church and serving as Board Chair for 14 of his 16 years as a School Board Trustee for the Linfield Christian School in Temecula.
