Mr. Thomas Caseldine is a graduate of California Polytechnic University of Pomona and a holder of dual licenses in the State of California as a Professional Engineer and as a Professional Land Surveyor. With over 13 years of experience working in the fields of engineering and surveying, including the design of grading, water and sewer facilities, hydrology, hydraulics, storm drain facilities, and roadways. Thomas also has 7 years of experience as a Survey Analyst, including preparation of Tract Maps, Record of Surveys, Corner Records and A.L.T.A. maps. He has 5 years of experience in field survey working as a chainman, instrument man and party chief in design surveys, boundary surveys, and construction surveys.
As a Project Manager, Thomas leads the design of civil engineering plans, survey analysis, legal descriptions, final mapping, ALTA surveys, and other documents associated with various public and private projects. These projects range from small subdivisions to large master-planned communities, including commercial and industrial projects. He works closely with staff and agencies to maintain project schedules while providing overall engineering design and surveying support. Thomas has worked with agencies such as the cities of Lake Elsinore, Corona, and Moreno Valley and with the County of Riverside on engineering and survey/mapping projects.
RECENT PROJECT EXPERIENCE
EVMWD Facility Sites, City of Lake Elsinore, CA – Survey Party Chief for 12 water facility sites located throughout Lake Elsinore. Work included establishment of survey control, design survey and topography of sites, coordination of USA markings and preparation of existing site base maps for District records and in future site improvements.
Mission Trails, City of Lake Elsinore, CA – Survey Party Chief for 2 EVMWD sewer lift station sites located off of Mission Trails, Lake Elsinore, Ca. Work included establishment of survey control, design survey and topography of sites and preparation of existing site base maps for use for District records and in future site improvements.
Department of Water and Power, City of Corona, CA – Survey Party Chief for 12 well sites. Work included establishment of survey control, design survey and topography of sites and preparation of existing site base maps for use in future site improvements for the addition of diesel generators on concrete pads.
Nichols Lift Station, City of Lake Elsinore, CA – Survey Party Chief for the Nichols Temporary Lift Station on 0.5 acres of land, including providing the construction survey of 5,480 feet of 8” gravity sewer line going into the lift station and 1,500 feet of sewer force main leaving the lift station to the existing sewer located within Collier Avenue. Work included the establishment of control, preparation of field staking packages, staking of the sewer gravity lines, sewer force main and survey of the lift station facilities.
